The thick Vermeil gold band is hand-formed to size and covered with sparkling black spinel set into the surface. The four stones are set across the surface pointing in opposite directions (like North, South, East, and West on a compass).

Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is a deposit of 100 mils of gold over silver. Typical gold plating is only 3 mils thick. This has the best wear resistance of any gold plated surface.

Keep dry and store in a jewelry box or pouch. Wipe with a soft, lint free cloth to remove surface debris. Do not wear in pool/shower/hottub. Always remove for any heavy lifting or activities that can scratch or dent the metal. Vermeil has great longevity only when properly cared for.
