Custom Commission Overview

Design Kickoff

A non-refundable $350 design fee is required to begin. This initiates the creative process and is applied toward your project total. No drawings or models are shared until this fee is received.

Payment Schedule

Payments are made in three stages: the $350 kickoff fee, a 50% production deposit upon design approval, and the remaining balance before delivery.

Pricing

All quotes follow a not-to-exceed protocol. A ±10% contingency applies to estimates due to material variability. If your final cost exceeds the estimate by more than $50, you'll be notified before work continues.

Timeline

Standard commissions take 8–10 weeks from the production deposit. Rush completion in 4–7 weeks is available for a $400 fee, subject to studio availability.

The Process

Every piece is designed and made entirely in-studio. Original drawings, hand fabrication, wax carving, CAD, stone setting, and finishing. Nothing is an assembly from pre-made parts from outside the studio. You'll be involved at every stage of the design before fabrication begins.

Custom Nature of Work

Because each piece is made uniquely for you, the finished jewelry may have subtle differences from preliminary renderings. This is the nature and beauty of truly custom work.

Refunds & Returns

All custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale. Manufacturing defects identified within 30 days of delivery will be corrected at no charge. Damage from wear, impact, or improper care is not covered.

Delivery

Once your final balance is paid, your piece ships fully insured with tracking and signature confirmation, or is available for in-studio pickup by appointment.
